So I just bought Zimmer Professional from Spitfire Audio and WOW..what an amazing set. HZ Strings, HZ Percussion Pro, and HZ Piano. It took me 2 days to download and install it all (over 600GB) and it was way worth it. The sound quality is simply superb. It was all recorded at Air Studio's Lyndhurst Hall where Hans records many of his film scores. The piano they used for HZ Piano is the Steinway Model D that he used for "Time" from the Inception soundtrack. The string VSTs have an enormous library that they went in depth to record - one of the presets is 60 VIOLINS. I mean that's crazy right? Then you get 20 violins center, 20 violins left, 20 violins right, and they do this for the violas, cellos, and round it out with 24 basses. The percussion set has everything from kodos to timpani and the range of dynamics is stunning.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting to score film.
